Questions
Do guests have to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code at the door and it opens in their phone's browser. Setup takes under a minute.
Do guests pay anything?
Never. Hosts pay; guests always join free.
What do I need at the venue?
A printed QR code. A TV or projector for the venue screen is optional but makes the night.
What about privacy?
Wave never shows exact locations, only that someone is at your event. Contact info is shared only with consent, guests can block anyone, and meet-up photos are deleted a week after the event.
Can sponsors get leads without guests being spammed?
Yes. Booth staff scan a guest's badge to log the visit. Email and phone go to the booth only if the guest says yes, and entering a giveaway never requires it.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create a free event, add sample guests from the dashboard, and walk through everything yourself.
