wave.For hosts

Meet the people in the room.

Scan in at an event and see who else is here. Then put the phone down and go say hi. When you leave, you disappear.

Or just scan the QR code at the door.

Two ways to play

The host picks one for each event.

🎯 Mixer

Everyone

Meet as many people as you can. Networking nights, conferences, socials, anywhere the hardest part is saying hi first.

  1. Make a name tag — pick 2–3 things about you, like "has a dog."
  2. Play a game — bingo, a mystery person to track down, or a team race. Built-in openers.
  3. Scan to connect — scan each other's code. You get something you have in common to talk about.
  4. Swap cards — trade email, phone or LinkedIn, only if you both say yes.
  5. Snap a photo together — with both OKs it pops up on the venue screen.
  6. Win together — the whole room works toward one goal, and the host sets the prize.

👋 Dating

Singles

See who's here and single tonight. Nobody knows you're interested unless it's mutual.

  1. Check in — you only see people who'd want to see you.
  2. Wave — your wave stays private unless they wave back.
  3. Meet up — it's a match. Pick a spot: "by the bar," "front of stage."

Games

Mixer hosts pick one. Each one gets people talking to strangers.

🎯 Bingo
Find someone who fits each square. Everyone you meet fills one.
🕵️ Mystery Person
A secret target and a new clue every 2 minutes. Find them, scan, repeat.
🎨 Team Quest
Color teams race on the big screen. Meeting someone from another team scores.
🧩 Matching Pairs
You're Peanut Butter. Somewhere in the room is your Jelly. Go find them.
Either way: Wave never shows your exact location, only that you're at this event. You can hide or block anyone anytime. Contact info is only shared when you say so. When you leave, or the event ends, you're off the map, and meet-up photos are deleted a week later.
